Macedon Academy Renovation Stage 2
Painting preparation work commenced in September, 2018. Mike McDonnell was the contractor for this work. Click images to enlarge and view full descriptions. The renovations of the exterior of the Academy were completed in 2018 with a Grant from the Bullis Fund. This comprehensive project included repairing the foundation on the east side and painting the exterior. These updates not only improved the structural integrity of the building but also enhanced its aesthetic appeal.
Scraping has begun.
Priming and calking has begun.
Finish paint has been applied to the gable.
Finish paint has been applied to most of the front of the building.
Missing glass has been replaced in the gable window.
The front and east side are virtually done.
Work is progressing on the back of the building.
Mike is scraping and painting the gable. Metal trim is being applied to the cornice.
